Teacher Admin vs Teacher Account
Dinolingo School Accounts: Roles and Permissions
Each Dinolingo School subscription includes:
- 1 Teacher-Admin account
- Unlimited Teacher accounts
- Unlimited classrooms
- Access to up to 50 languages
- A set number of student enrollments, depending on your subscription plan
Important: Each school account can have only one Teacher-Admin, associated with a single email address.
School Account Types
Dinolingo School accounts have two types of educators: Teachers and Teacher-Admins. Each role has different permissions.

Teacher-Admin Accounts
The Teacher-Admin manages the entire school account and has access to all Teacher features.
What Teacher-Admins Can Do:
- Create, edit, or remove classrooms.
- Add, edit, or remove Teacher accounts.
- Assign teachers to classrooms or change their classroom assignments.
- Add, edit, or remove students.
- Increase or decrease the number of student enrollment slots allocated to each classroom, within the subscription's total limit.
- Manage student assignments and grades.
- Access all features available to Teachers.
Please note: Each school subscription supports only one Teacher-Admin account.

Teacher Accounts
Teachers can manage students and learning activities within their assigned classrooms.
What Teachers Can Do:
- Add, edit, or remove students within their assigned classrooms.
- Create, edit, or remove student assignments.
- View and adjust student grades in the Gradebook.
What Teachers Cannot Do:
- Create, edit, or delete classrooms.
- Assign themselves to another classroom or change their classroom assignments.
- Increase or decrease the number of student enrollment slots allocated to a classroom.
If a teacher needs additional student slots or changes to their classroom, they should contact their Teacher-Admin.
